The PartyGaming group is a well known name in the UK Gaming industry. You’ve probably all heard of PartyPoker, their incredibly successful poker site, and PartyCasino is their casino offering. An established name with a good reputation, PartyCasino is a popular place to play and in this review I’m going to take a closer look at what they have to offer.
The first notable thing about PartyCasino is that they have their own software which has been developed in-house. As someone who plays a lot of casino games, it’s refreshing to see a change from the usual MicroGaming/PlayTech software. The PartyCasino software is simple to download and registering a new account is quick and easy.
Depositing to your account is a breeze, with an excellent array of payment options available. I opted for Visa, but you can take your pick from a number of debit/credit cards or e-wallets if you prefer. It’s pleasing to see that almost all of these methods can be cashed out to, and processing times are quick – a matter of hours in the cases of e-wallets.
PartyCasino has excellent bonuses, which is always good to see. A welcome bonus of 100% up to £500 is more than adequate, and you get the same bonus again as a reload for the next four deposits. Nice! There is also a refer-a-friend scheme and some good high roller bonuses for the elite players.
As mentioned previously, PartyCasino have developed their own software which is a brave move on their part but seems to have paid off. They’ve clearly gone for user-friendliness rather than stunning graphics, which is the right strategy in my book. The lobby is easy to navigate and the games easy to find.
When it comes to game variety, I have to say that I expected a bit more. That’s not to say that there are lots of glaring omissions from what’s on offer, it’s just that there perhaps isn’t quite the same selection as at some other leading casinos. That said, there are still nearly 100 slots to choose from, as well as some great blackjack games, European and American roulette, Baccarat and Pai Gow Poker. The Video Poker selection is good, if not great, with the main variants and a couple of power play options. What I did like was their ‘Games’ section, which has some seriously fun arcade games, like World Football Stars, Celeb and Formula Won.
Finally, customer service. Support is available 24/7 via telephone or email but not live chat. I find live chat the easiest and most convenient option, but I have to say that the PartyCasino telephone support was excellent. I gave them a quick call to check about wagering requirements and the agent was cheerful and extremely helpful.
Summary
It’s not hard to see why PartyCasino is one of the main players in the UK online casino scene, as it offers a great gaming experience and is a good all round casino. The number of games available might be slightly lower than some other casinos, but what they have is great and when you couple that with the generous bonuses, good and original software and helpful customer service.
